this remote is really cool to be honest, only problem is it takes up alot of battery power, in order to enjoy this, you must by a plug in battery charger(so you save money) unless you want to spend 10 ever 2 weeks for batteries. (and i know so of you are like, oh im going to the dollar store for batteries, no they use old alkaline batteries that will run out fast)

Set up was easy enough. My son and I gave it a first run with Lego Star Wars. There was intermittent latency between the time we'd press buttons and the time the action would execute. Very difficult to win a light saber battle when reaction time is skewed. Perhaps if the designers had omitted the fancy blue light-up nature of the thing, there'd be more attention paid to making sure those 2.4 GHz get to the PS2 in a timely fashion.

I bought this for my gamer husband for Christmas and he was very excited about it. The glow looks very cool. The wireless worked fine for us and we didn't have any delay issues. My husband only used it for about a week unfortunately. He said the joysticks/thumbsticks were very weighted and although at first they were fine, after prolonged use they were difficult to push and maneuver and they hurt his hands. Occasionally one of them would get stuck and cause issues with gaming. We really liked the concept of this controller and even replaced the thumbsticks a few times to see if we could fix those issues but we were unsuccessful. Overall, I was happy that my husband was impressed but I think there are some fatal flaws in the construction and wiring that should be ironed out before these can become useable.
