Easy Charging, February 9, 2012
At first I had purchased the rechargable batteries which then plugged into your x-box for charging. I found that they either never really fully charged or the quality of the batteries were poor. This kit comes with rechargable batteries. The platform just plugs into the wall and you set your controls on them for charging. There will be a red light next to either controller 1 or 2 to let you know that this controller is charging. When the red light is gone the controller is charged. You can leave them on the charger without any damage. I would definetly recommend this charger pack.
Doesn't Work with Aftermarket Controllers, February 2, 2012
The title pretty well says it all. I use an aftermarket, programmable controller and this charger doesn't work with it. In fact, I wasn't knocked out with the way it worked on XBox brand controllers, either. The controller doesn't seem heavy enough to sit down on the charger contacts. So, what you end up with is a fairly expensive rack for two controllers that you still need batteries for.

When I initially purchased this item I was very excited.. It looked awesome next to my Xbox360 and it kept the controllers in place. Since I most of the time play kinect games didn't need to use the controllers that much and therefore I didn't use the charger often. First time I charged the controllers it worked beautiful, second time.. Hmm.. Not so good.. All three lights would keep on blinking and controllers were not charged. I unplugged it and plugged back and it worked OK... Third time, didn't work AT ALL. So I wrote to Nyko customer support I got a not so quick but good response, they would send me a replacement... Three weeks after I'm still waiting for the replacement, no one has contacted me to provide me a tracking number... I feel they don't appreciate me as a customer and I decided not to write them back cause last two times I did never got a response... Too bad since I was actually considering getting a Nyko cooler for my console!
