But I needed another PS2 controller so I could play a game with my bros. I was short on money and couldn't afford to buy the name-brand PS2 Dual Shock controller that I needed, so I began searching for a cheaper one.I'm happy to say that my purchase of this controller is not one that I regret. The controll looks, feels, and plays exactly the same as an ordinary Dual Shock 2 controller! However, this controller is not without it's down sides, the cord is about a foot shorter than the one on the Dual Shock 2. The triangle, circle, X, and square buttons aren't marked. I had to label them myself so I would know what buttons to press. But it's not that bad, I just used some leftover labels for a blank VHS to mark them, but if you dont have those, a pen and some masking tape will do. And lastly, you have to apply a slight bit more thumb pressure to the buttons to get a... The product was advertised as a replacement for the original controller, but nothing was mentioned in the add about the controller being used. It has scratches and nicks on it and I'm slightly disappointed. This is my first negative experience with Amazon. I could have gotten a brand new knock off brand at Wal Mart for just a couple more bucks.
